The Teen Specialist is based on a desire to see young people adequately supported in schools and educational establishments. The aim is to reduce school exclusions by supporting schools in addressing challenging behaviours and preventing young people from becoming NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training).
The Teen Specialist provides holistic support to schools and young people to address behavioural challenges and identify contributing factors.
Additionally, it offers educational advocacy to parents struggling to have their voices heard regarding their child's education. The focus includes expulsions, mistreatment, bullying, behaviour challenges, and inequality in education.
